And how can you blame them when as they sit at 0-5 on the season. The Texans give you good performances at home and this one shapes up to be a blowout. Lion starting quarterback Jon Kitna is out for the season and Dan Orlovsky gets the start. This Lion teams struggles on the ground as they average just 76 yards on the ground. This will put the Lions in obvious passing situations and the Texans pass rush is always better when playing in front of the home folks. The Texans will good balance on offense against Detriot as Steve Slaton will perform well on the ground and quarterback Matt Schaub will have a huge game due in part to the size advantage his receivers has over the Lions secondary.
